Leads and participate in process improvement and in multiple projects initiatives through the disciplined use of the best methodologies, measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to achieve the goals.

Plans, manages, and controls the activities of small to mediums size projects and assist other Managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions, group or team.

Provides strategic business analysis services to business partners and work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.

Identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application.

Ensures that policies and procedures are aligned with corporate vision. Is able to take direction from multiple leaders.

Manages roadmap of cross functional projects in an agile way. Proactively obtains input from owners and seek input from leaders.

Identifies and close blind-spots in the process and proactively plan mitigations. Communicates and coordinates all cross-

functional project activities across different sites and functions

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES SCOPE & COMPLEXITY

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
  • EXPERTISE

  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept. / peer review)
  • SUPERVISON

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)
  • Actively mentors and provides leadership to peers.
  • LEADERSHIP & CONTRIBUTION

  • Contributing Independently and / or
  • Contributing through others (be capable to back up the Lead role when the leader is absent)
  • REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

    Normally requires a Bachelor Degree or may have a Master’s Degree from a four-year college or university

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    Typically has 6-10 years of directly related experience

    LANGUAGES

    Ideally Fluent English Advance (reading, writing, and conversation).

    Proficient in Portuguese desirable.

  • SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS / SPECIALTIES / COURSEWORK

    Desired :

  • Lean experience or certifications
  • PMP and / or Six Sigma, Scrum desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project or Continues improvement methodologies and history of successful application of methodologies
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

    Extensive computer keyboarding and moussing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
