This is an Information Technology position requiring a candidate with a solid foundation in document management and configuration of enterprise content / document management systems.
This position is neither a developer nor analyst but a role in between the two that is more technical than a typical functional analyst but not as technical as a software developer.
The position will configure business rules and system security, metadata, data migration functionality and other aspects of document management to support activities for Emerson Automation Solutions Content Management Services (CMS) applications.
This opening requires expertise in requirements development, technical design leveraging the configuration functionality available in CMS systems, performing the configuration work itself, problem resolution and strong overall communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience providing technical configuration support for enterprise level content / document management platforms
Minimum 3 years of experience gathering technical requirements for configuring business rules, metadata and other associated functionality in document management solutions (i.
e Oracle Webcenter Content, SharePoint, Hyland OnBase, IBM FileNet or similar)
Experience designing and implementing projects requiring metadata definition, security, rules, profiles, data migration, systems integration, and contribution / consumption models.
Skilled in designing, configuring, integrating, and customizing enterprise applications that interact with CMS solutions.
Highly organized and experienced in troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues.
Strong understanding of file and directory structure technologies, including Active Directory.
Understands software development concepts, development processes, change management, and deployment procedures for interacting with software developers in the community.
Proven history coordinating with multiple IT groups and setting priorities across a team of external vendors and co-workers.
B1 + English level verbal and written communication.
Ability to think critically and work independently.
The candidate must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as maintenance windows are scheduled.
