Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology, computer science or related career
  • 4+ years of consumer marketing research experience
  • Strong background in quantitative research methodology and statistical analyses
  • In depth business experience to understand requirements, assess potential criticalities and oversee the impact of providing services and solutions
  • Ability to understand the ins and outs of survey design and best practices within the survey platforms
  • Experience using Qualtrics or Confirmit is strongly preferred
  • General understanding of the Agile mindset and Kanban structure in solution / product delivery
  • Experience with customer satisfaction and experience research
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to apply a highly logical and well-organized approach to the analysis and resolution of issues
  • Exceptional service attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to provide outstanding deliverables
  • Displays an optimistic attitude and can do approach to new / unknown requests and to difficult situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if needed (i.e. public holidays, occasional after-hours and on-call duties)
  • Excellent written / verbal communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Who You'll Work With

    You’ll be based in our San Jose, Costa Rica office as part of McKinsey’s survey development group which provides online survey solutions to our global network of management consultants.

    Our goal is to assist McKinsey consultants to conduct research during client engagements by providing expertise and thought partnership to enable the quick setup of secure and effective survey solutions.

    You’ll work in partnership with our global, multinational team, which works more like a small startup company.Our development teams are small, flexible and employ agile methodologies to quickly provide our consultants with the solutions they need.

    You’ll work within a casual office culture which is fun and social with emphasis on continued education and innovation. You’ll have the freedom to try new ideas, experiment and consistently learn and grow.

    What You'll Do

    You’ll work closely with the McKinsey client service teams to provide end-to-end survey solutions by collaborating with internal consultants to develop compelling, issue driven proposals.

    In this role, you’ll manage all phases of project implementation including requirement gathering, survey design, programming, QA, data collection and reporting.

    You’ll introduce best practices for question designs to our clients and internal teammates by having a clear understanding of question types, mobile-first mindset, writing questionnaires and survey structure.

    You will also debrief the consultant on the end-to-end research outcome.You’ll align client and development teams around common measurable deliverables, act as a thought partner to the stakeholder, communicate regularly with clients all while ensuring accuracy and acceptability of the final product.
