The Senior Analyst, MDM is responsible for managing workflows involving master data creation / updates, process improvement and maintenance within the relevant ERP system.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.

Essential duties & responsibilities :

  • In this role you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy / integrity of data in the JDE ERP
  • In this Master Data Team you will be part of a global network managing data across a number of regions of distributors and manufacturers ensuring alignment of needs and providing data that can be relied upon for transacting and reporting.
  • You will become an expert of the structure of JDE and Stryker’s transactional processes and data storage and will help develop, maintain and conduct guidelines for Master Data processes and train other teams when required around data functions to ensure they are accurately maintained.
  • In this role you will use your data knowledge to pull reporting to monitor the integrity of the system and provide reporting where standard reports cannot meet business needs.
  • Provide advanced thought processes of the flow of information and how it ties back to the divisional software applications.
  • Understand and answer complex questions related to data structures and governance while maintaining positive stakeholder experiences
  • Analyze, research, and resolve complex data matching issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
  • Collaborate with divisional functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure project(s) success to meet short and long term goals and needs.
  • Must be able to observe, manage and correct master data inconsistencies within multiple ERP systems
  • Ability to research and offer resolution to processing issues that demonstrate competence in system navigation and processes in order to assist in testing new processes
  • A subject matter expert that may act as an interdivisional resource for a project or assisting in the project completion.
  • Support stakeholder SLA’s and work to provide KPI’s
  • Education & special trainings :

  • Tertiary qualifications preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, IS or logistics / inventory management
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Portuguese. Any other language is a plus
  • Must have excellent verbal and written interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyse / interpret data
  • Exceptional skills in applicable Microsoft software programs in particular excel
  • Business Intelligence tools preferred (Microsoft reporting, PowerBI)
  • Major ERP systems experience (SAP or MDG, Oracle, JD Edwards)
  • Must be able to organize with the ability to prioritize work and keep accurate and detailed records
  • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to use independent judgment effectively
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • SQL query writing skills
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Business process improvement capability and ability to contribute to and implement systematic improvement and quality results
  • Demonstrated creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing solutions to complex problems that may not have one clear answer
  • Desired experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required maintaining master data records or finance, supply chain / logistics or other operations experience with a leaning to data maintenance.
  • Physical & mental requirements :

  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
