Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities.

Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like :


  • Inspect and determine the causes of equipment breakdowns
  • Repair breakdowns and restore equipment to its validated operating condition.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of all equipment assigned to your work area, following the current procedures and instructions.
  • Document the interventions carried out on the equipment following the documentation standards of the medical industry.
  • Identify possible improvements in corrective and preventive maintenance procedures and communicate them to your supervisor.
  • Identify, acquire and maintain control of the spare parts necessary for the prevention or repair of breakdowns in the equipment in charge.
  • Identify and acquire tools and equipment for the optimal execution of maintenance.
  • Schedule and coordinate with Production the planned preventive maintenance.
  • Track maintenance effectiveness and efficiency indicators such as downtime, overtime, cost, and others.
  • Electromechanical assembly of new equipment
  • Design and build the requested equipment, accessories and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Availability of schedules according to the needs of the company.
  • Education and Experience

  • Technical academic degree in industrial electricity, electronics, electromechanics, maintenance, mechanics or similar.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the maintenance of light industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to perform maintenance and construction of equipment as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine problems in a timely manner to get production back up as quickly as possible.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle minor projects from planning to execution.
  • Ability to read manuals and technical sheets in English.
  • Requires a high degree of written and verbal skills to communicate positively and effectively with all departments and the management team.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English at an intermediate level.
  • Possibility of using a PC and the different management systems of the company, including MS Office.
  • Must be punctual and reliable with good attendance.
  • Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.
