Intel’s greatest asset is our people. Help us keep them safe! On this role, you will oversee Latin America Region in 3 areas : Security Operations, investigations, and Emergency management.
You will be responsible for developing security processes and procedures in compliance with Corporate Security Standards and Policies, develop Site Security programs and adapt to local conditions, and ensures compliance with Intel and country security regulations.
Some of your responsibilities will be :
Work with Corporate Security Technologies for ensuring that security equipment are tested, maintained and properly functioning.
Conduct frequent drills and audits to validate all security standards and policies are met and upheld.
Identifies and rectifies security gaps raised during security reviews at the Site. Ensures compliance to external auditor's findings.
Ensure support from flexible workforce and / or Third Party vendors (TPV) perform their functions in accordance with the contracted expectations.
Include the controlled dispensing of badges, access controls, and the collection of access forms.
Conduct investigations into allegations of crime, security incidents, misappropriation of Intel assets, inappropriate web site use, freight thefts, and other matters as directed by the Regional Security Manager, across Intel's Latin America Region.
Supervises background investigations into new hires program implementation, as required.
Supervises Workplace Response Team (WRT) program compliancy.
Assesses and implements Investigative Programs. Ensures investigations are undertaken in accordance with Corporate guidelines.
Develops and maintains contact with local Law Enforcement Agencies.
Makes recommendations on security improvements to Site Management.
Executes site-level Emergency Management Program (EMP) and processes according to the Site Emergency Response Standard and Corporate guidelines, standards and policies.
Performs yearly risk assessment of the Regional / Site EMP and include input from Corporate security authorities.
Responsible for performing regular drills that reflect the risks noted in the yearly risk assessment.
Works closely with Site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure compliance to local or federal laws or codes. Ensures the Site Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is appropriately staffed, trained, and capable of responding to any unexpected event.
Ensures emergency response teams and templates are accurate and tested.
Either owns or partners with the Site Emergency Response Team (ERT) program
Ten years professional experience across law enforcement, investigations, corporate security or similar. Four of those years may be off-
set by a bachelor's degree, or five years with a master's degree or higher.
Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English. Conversational Portuguese desirable but not required.
Availability to travel (zero to twice a year).
System Adaptability : Aptitude to adapt and learn new software utilization.
Integrity must be and remain above reproach. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow applicable Privacy laws, policies, and guidelines.
Must adhere to a strict Corporate and Security Code of Conduct.
General understanding of security including access controls, Security Command Center, security system and loss prevention.
Ability to develop security programs and processes independently and make decisions on Security response to incidents / activities and react accordingly when under pressure.
Analytical skills to conduct investigations and to evolve or establish prevention programs.
Ability to apply pertinent security management principles and sound judgment to everyday operations, including campus / site emergency response situations, on and off campus incidents involving Intel employees, and documentation completion.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple events and tasks while maintaining the standard of quality. Ability to be flexible in an often ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
Ability to think critically, apply good judgment, and influence others.
Ability to follow defined processes and procedures. Ability to self-manage and prioritize work with very little day-to-day oversight.
Ability to manage financial spends and budgets.
Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build solid working relationship with all levels of management, peers, partners, customers, law enforcement, etc.

Ability to provide effective oversight of contingent security workforce to ensure adherence and compliance to corporate contract.
Possesses the background and / or experience that enhances the Corporate Security Organization.
Eligible for Authorized Intel Investigator certification by meeting 1 of the following : Professional certification (i.
e. CFE : Certified Fraud Examiner) with three years relevant investigations experience, orFive years law enforcement experience with two years relevant investigations experience, orFive years' experience as civil investigator for federal, state or local government agency, orThree years' experience at Intel in investigative role, orIntel attorney with three years relevant investigations experience
