The Talent Acquisition Team Lead is responsible for managing multiple projects, training / mentoring recruiters, and partnering with the business units and functional areas to deliver the top tier talent required to achieve operating goals across the GSC Costa Rica.

You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.

This position is a high visibility, high impact role with responsibility for sourcing, assessing and delivering highly qualified candidates.

You will own the candidate experience by acting as a company ambassador to internal and external candidates. Our Talent Acquisition team is a high performing, team focused, results oriented group that likes to help each other to win!

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Recruits proactively and compliantly to fill all positions with qualified candidates in a timely manner to ensure operational goals are met
  • Manage multiple recruiting projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all priorities and goals are achieved.
  • Provide coaching, training, mentorship to new and existing team members
  • Collaborate with recruiting team and / or the companies to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies, that generates qualified candidates for sourcing, pipelining, and urgent requisitions
  • Manage relationship with customers to ensure the highest quality recruiting service is provided
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to clarify specific hiring needs, develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction
  • Provide consultative advice on job description structure, interview processes, and timely feedback
  • Carry out full supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Ability to plan projects, develop milestones, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet specific deadlines
  • Must be an experienced people manager, high energy, results-orientated leader
  • Must be organized with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and balance multiple priorities to serve multiple internal companies in a collaborative team environment
  • Must have the ability to handle high stress environments and work efficiently and rapidly, adjusting to changing business needs under the pressure of constant deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills, professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
  • Assist in employee retention and development
  • Supervise recruiting personnel
  • Organize and / or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events
  • Designs and implements overall recruiting strategy.
  • Hosts an exceptional Hiring Manager experience.
  • Ensures an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Prepares recruitment materials and posts jobs to appropriate job board / newspapers / colleges etc.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools / methods to filter candidates
  • Provides analytical and well documented recruiting reports.
  • Promotes company’s reputation as Great Place to Work .
  • Qualification & Experience

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Administration and / or related fields or a minimum 3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting experience required.
  • Experience leading and managing successful recruiting projects
  • Experience capturing metrics and producing various employment reports
  • Experience in all areas sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings; as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance
  • Do regular performance evaluation
  • Create a health and motivating work environment and atmosphere
  • Monitor team performance
  • Motivate team members
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Fluent English and Spanish is a must.
  • Fluent in Portuguese is highly attractive.
