The Opportunity

Adobe is hiring a Group Manager of Corporate Philanthropy to lead our global giving, grantmaking, emergency response and related efforts.

This position reports to the Director of Social Impact Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility. This leader will guide Adobe’s philanthropic efforts in our core pillars of Adobe for All and Creativity for All and provide dynamic and effective leadership relating to the company’s efforts around impactful philanthropic giving.

Job Description

The Group Manager, Corporate Philanthropy is responsible for leading Adobe’s corporate social impact investments and developing a grant portfolio to promote racial equity, advancement and creativity across the markets where Adobe operates.

Responsibilities include

  • Create and implement a multi-year strategy for growing Adobe’s social impact and philanthropic investments in our two pillars of Adobe for All and Creativity for All.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive feedback loop and program between Adobe, Adobe Foundation and grantees and partners.
  • Build a measurement framework and dashboard to track and report on global engagement metrics to demonstrate our impact on employees and in our communities.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with key business functions including Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, and Talent Development with regular check-ins and strategic sessions to integrate social impact in the employee lifecycle.
  • Support the activities of the Adobe Foundation and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements for private foundations
  • Lead all aspects of management of Adobe’s executive sponsorships and customer giving programs, including relationship development, grant reporting and event attendance.
  • Support the Adobe Foundation Board and senior executives as they support and design strategic investments.
  • Provide regular updates on Corporate Philanthropy for key internal partners including investor relations, legal, PR / Comms and other colleagues as appropriate.
  • Represent Adobe’s POV and thought leadership in employee engagement and social impact, acting as a resource to employees across the organization.
  • Responsible for key budgets including the operational budget, corporate giving, and emergency response planning.
  • What You Need To Succeed

  • 10+ years experience in corporate social impact, corporate philanthropy and CSR including people management, ideally in a global setting.
  • Experience in foundation operations, legal expectations and compliance in a corporate or private foundation setting.
  • Consistent track record managing external partners and grant portfolios with global organizations, experience with creativity and arts institutions is a bonus
  • Shown success in developing a successful social impact investment agenda and measurement strategy in a high-growth company.
  • Experience consulting and navigating multi-stakeholder audiences including internal business partners and large-scale non-profit organizations.
  • Proven experience translating social impact programs into compelling storytelling and marketing opportunities.
  • Bachelors’ degree required, advanced degree a plus.

    Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

    Colorado Starting Salary : $131,600 - $170,900

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

    Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
