The Lead Interactive Developer is responsible for the good execution of digital projects in charge of his / her team, combining his / her creative background with solid and up-
to-date technical skills. He / she must be involved in the production of major complexity projects, but also, he / she must be careful about the technical integrity of all the projects being developed in his / her team through all the stages including assets production, development, and debugging.
Some of his / her usual tasks would be :
Act as a point of technical escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle as it relates to technical decisions.
Lead adherence to brand requirements in terms of technology, execution, and design.
Provide technical consultancy to department staff and participate in business development efforts including proposals, development plans, and presentations, as directed.
Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed, and regressed.
Research about new technologies and standards; develop effective training strategies for a proper knowledge-transfer to the team members.
Set standards and best practices needed to have a consistent production process.
Actively work in the development of complex, innovative projects, which needs a higher level of expertise.
Act as a production resource when the work demand requires it.
Work with project management to ensure that all projects which the team is involved with are delivered on-time and are of high quality.
Assist with project estimations acting as the technical subject matter expert.
Assist with resource allocation, ensuring that the appropriate resources are assigned to the appropriate projects.
Act as the first step in the team's escalation path for technical issues on projects.
Work with HR to handle with all non-project related personell issues (e.g. hiring, terminations, conflict resolution, lack of quality).
Work with individuals to set performance goals and expectations. Set development plans. Monitor performance progress. Evaluate performance.
Plan and conduct performance reviews
Provide to the team standard processes of the organization, such as standards, project policies and quality procedures, templates (e.
g. project plans, change orders, timelines, estimates, technical templates, checklists etc) Documentation and measurement of learned lessons.
Identify process improvements according to the team and client’s needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
At least 3+ years leading digital production projects and teams, preferably in an agency environment.
Great skills in front-end technologies (HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, JS).
Experienced in Bootstrap, jQuery, Zepto, and similar libraries to layout and program interfaces.
Knowledge of HTML5 animation libraries such as GSAP & CreateJS.
Good understanding of data handling through XML and JSON Standards.
Strong familiarity with web standards and best practices.
Experienced working with software versioning tools such as GIT and SVN.
Basic understanding of server-side languages like PHP and / or .NET
Proficiency in Adobe Animate CC content creation. Experienced in AIR deployment for Android, iOS, Windows, MacOSX.
Great animation skills. Good understanding of basic animation principles, techniques, and related software.
Good notion of graphic design and layout. A good notion of UX principles.
