The IOTG PDE team in Costa Rica is looking for driven Engineers, looking to take part in the development of products tailored to Intel's growing new business initiatives.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of pre and post-silicon tasks, including :
Creating & validating new test programs and test content for IoTG products and their use cases.
Proposing, documenting and implementing new or improved Test Methodologies and / or flows
Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability, with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
Influencing partner organizations to get required support to adapt, modify or develop specific test solutions for IoTG differentiated silicon (features or use cases / conditions).
Autonomously planning and scheduling own tasks, developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Additionally, there are opportunities to focus on influencing the definition and debugging system level test platforms as well as to propose, drive, and develop new test capabilities and methods.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications :
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in :
programming languages : python, C++, or similar
at platform testing and / or validation
on Hardware architecture, logic or Circuit design and implementation
Intermediate to Advanced English Level
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of experience in :
Microprocessor Assembly and Test Engineering (ATE) and / or pre-silicon verification experience
Design for Test (DFT), hardware testing methods and tools
Working with Linux / EFI environment
High speed circuit testing (oscilloscope and JBERT usage, etc)
Specifying custom motherboard and BIOS features (DFT) needed to enable Product Platform Validation (PPV) capabilities and support new CPU architectures
Performing system level debug and characterization of PPV test programs for new CPUs with associated Motherboard, Chipset, BIOS, and test platform control software.
