The Technical Support (L2) is responsible for receiving, assigning and resolving network security / Firewall incidents. Ensuring SLA’s are meet and correct ticketing process is being followed.
L2 is responsible for contacting the customers / account directly to notify about any P2 and P1 tickets. Shift work, various hours / work days, overtime as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities : Provide advanced technical support to CIBC Bank, provide support of Firewalls and other security appliances.
Perform monitoring, break / fix and MACD support as per defined processes. Focus will be on Tier 2 recovery related to break / fix.
Key Competencies and Skills : Required Skills : 1) Degree / Diploma on Networking or equivalent certifications (CCNA, CCSP, CCNP, Wireless, Switching and Routing or Security)2) 90% or above proven English level3) Minimum of 1-
2 years’ experience within Network management.4) Minimum of 1-2 years’ hands-on technical knowledge with Networking DevicesDesired Skills : 1) Troubleshooting and problem-
solving skills.2) Strong verbal and written communications skills.3) Experience managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures4) Knowledge or experience using monitoring tools like CA Spectrum and Cisco Prime.
