About the role :
The Inside Sales Representative will be part of a dynamic team that drives renewal revenue. You will be building relationships with customers to renew their maintenance contracts.
You will also coordinate activities with the field representatives who are focused on selling new business within your customer base.
You will ultimately be measured on your own targeted renewal sales.
Meet and / or exceed your assigned quota.
Negotiate, protect and grow the maintenance revenue stream within your assigned customer base.
Drive on time and accurate renewals by following internal processes and procedures.
Uncover and motivate lapsed customers to come back onto maintenance.
Analyze data to understand your customer and their buying relationship with Micro Focus
Increase customer satisfaction by serving as a customer advocate to interact with various internal departments on behalf of your customer.
Take complete ownership of your renewals and be responsible for completing the sales process within these deals.
Develop and nurture strong customer relationships.
Build relationships with the field sales reps and leverage those relationships to produce positive outcomes for the company and your customers.
Use and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other systems, data and processes.
Participate in outbound campaigns and installed base initiatives
Partner effectively with others to ensure coordinated, efficient account management
Review account activities in pursuit of up / cross - selling opportunities
Skills Required :
BA from a 4 year college or university or 3+ years business experience
Typically 3-5 years of selling experience at end user account or partner level.
Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
Previous sales / customer support experience, especially in a technology environment
Demonstrate potential and desire for sales success and ongoing desire to improve
Understanding of sales pipeline management basics
Desire to meet and exceed sales goals
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of motivation, drive and determination
