Seeking an experienced engineer to develop and debug desktop overclocking and performance tuning system solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a PC enthusiast her / himself and have a passion for pushing technology to its limits.
You will have the drive to push through barriers, question existing assumptions, and provided data to drive decisions. In this position, you will play a lead role in designing, debugging, and integrating our overclocking system solutions.
Specifically you will work on our Extreme Edition based overclocking solutions.
Your focus would be on the Enthusiast Overclocking Desktop segment where you will work with a small team of architects, BIOS engineers, motherboard developers, processor pCode / mCode developers, tuning software developers and others.
In this role you will :
You would lead early bring-up of OC knobs and develop best known configurations for downstream test teams.
You will identify early blocking issues, investigate, debug, and recommend solutions. Other responsibilities include processor and system overclocking characterization, testing new stepping / Micro Code / BIOS, and bug tracking.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications :
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic / Electric Engineering, Computers Engineering or Computing Systems
1+ years of experience with :
Existing overclocking knowledge through involvement externally or internally.
Solid understanding of IA PC Architecture
Prior experience with system debug.
Understand concepts of PC Power Management including OS and Processor / PCU levels.
Assemble a system or platform for testing
Install OS, drivers, utilities, and debug issues with ease
2+years of working experience in hardware design or validation / debug.
Intermediate to Advanced English level
Personal interest / passion for performance optimization.
Previous motherboard design or validation experience.
Understanding existing IA Performance features including : Intel (R) Turbo Boost.
Experience with using ITP / XDP and associated scripting tools.
pCode or advanced Power Management solution development experience.
Overclocking experience : inside or outside of Intel.
Experience with scripting tools.
Read schematics and review layouts with tools like Allegro.
