The Position

The Directory Services team manages and operates the solutions and components used to provide customers directory services capabilities for their corresponding systems and applications in the corporate environment.

We ensure to provide excellent support, while at the same time providing innovative IT solutions to all our customers who consume IT Services within Roche.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational support, performance, tactical lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the underlying technologies.

You will be part of multiple initiatives or projects with multiple specialist across multiple time zones in order to achieve the organizational objectives.

We are part of IT Operations, and work closely with the Architecture, Engineering, Security Governance and Quality IT organizations.

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Provide 2nd support. Operationally manage and support the Directory infrastructure, its associated components and applications.
  • Being responsible for platform installation, daily administration, technical support and in maintaining consistent configuration.
  • Proactively monitor systems and platforms for performance, availability and capacity management and ensure that the solution and component escalations are minimized.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction in promptly responding to requests, resolving incidents and managing changes.
  • Perform all administrative processes and procedures to ensure that the solutions and components meet defined SLAs for availability and performance.
  • Ensure procedures, processes and documentations are in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Relevant concepts of ITIL, GxP and Project Management are understood, implemented and followed. These include Request Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Qualification & Validation and Project Management.
  • Participate in relevant IT projects and operational activities outside of normal day to day tasks.
  • Actively focus on own self-development in creating actionable plans to improve.

    For this position, you bring the following experience, skills & qualifications :

  • 4 - 9 years of successful technical experience supporting Enterprise Directories Services and Identity & Access Management solutions in a major global organization.
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline; or recognition of prior working experience which is equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems (eg, Sailpoint), operations and related processes with focus on Active Directory, Virtual Directory Server, Directory Cloud Solutions (eg, Azure AD) and Centrify technologies.
  • Experience in Privilege Access Management Solutions (eg, CyberArk) is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager.
  • Infrastructure as Code DevOps, Scripting and automation experience, solid knowledge of Powershell, DSC, Jenkins or other similar tools.
  • Awareness of Agile techniques like Scrum, SAFe, etc are a plus for this position.
  • Experience in AD spin-off activities and AD migrations.
  • Good understanding of IT Security systems and landscape with in-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies.
  • Relevant concepts of ITIL, GxP and Project Management are understood, implemented and followed. These include Request Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Qualification & Validation and Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of Computer Systems Validation and working experience in validated environment.
  • Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with site Informatics staff in multiple countries and varying cultures.
  • Industry accredited certification is desirable. Willingness to continually acquire and maintain the technical skills appropriate to the requirements of this position.
  • Takes a proactive, collaborative and supportive approach when interacting with colleagues.
  • Committed to operational excellence, with willingness to cross-train and to learn additional technical expertise.
  • Strong customer focus and a highly responsive service delivery and support ethic.
  • Adaptable to change in a large organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and documentation skills. Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals in multiple countries and in varying cultures.
  • Strong verbal and written English. Spanish or German is desirable.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours. Provide 24x7 on-call support.
  • Occasional international travel is required.
  • Note : This position does not allow relocation.
