The Amazon Business team is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for business customers to buy on Amazon.
com through an Amazon Business Account. Costa Rica Account Representatives are responsible for developing strong relationships with small and medium business customers.
They balance their time between educating existing business customers and assisting those customers in enabling their account to best suit their specific needs.
The candidate will work closely with customers to understand their procurement requirements and then work with internal Amazon teams to determine the best solution to addresses the business needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships across functional areas such as procurement, production, maintenance, supply chain and IT and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of account management experience and a history of over-delivering on activity and output goals.
In addition, a successful candidate will have the ability to pivot quickly as this team will need to improve upon current processes and develop new ones to better serve our internal and external customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Meeting high-volume input and output goals
Responsible for managing time effectively and driving customer satisfaction
Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams.
Educating and networking with key customer contacts
Staying up-to-date with the latest AB features
Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders
3+ years customer assistance experience, B2B industry preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Buyers and stakeholder teams : written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English spoken and written is required.
Ability to carefully analyze data sets, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Proven ability to influence others strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to role-up your sleeves
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasked, high-energy environment where continuous innovation is required.
BA / BS Business Administration, Marketing or related field studies
Active listener and effective communicator
Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other systems
Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
