Applies advanced subject matter knowledge on credit / risk to solve common and complex business issues situations / events within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives, finds a balance between increasing revenue and mitigating risk, while applying policies and practices to identify the best solution.

Applies judgement to work on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Performs constant checks to mitigate risk and accelerate cash.

Shows leadership for projects and daily activities with the Team to facilitate information validation and team decision making process.

Seeks for advice, in order to make decisions on complex business cases.

Responsibilities :

  • Ability to determine risks and credit worthiness of customer at a general scale.
  • Uses mainly analyzes customer’s financial statements to perform in depth analysis to determine their financial condition and recommends their credit limit.
  • Manages accounts of customers with the highest monetary value and highest risk that require independent judgment.
  • Resolves highly complex issues independently; acts as an escalation point for more junior individual contributors.
  • Represents HP at high level negotiations for large strategic deals.
  • Represents HP on a country or region level.
  • Works on cross-functional initiatives and dialogues directly with executive level management at HP.
  • Macroeconomic analysis required as part of credit decisioning.
  • Ability to manage and resolve credit issues.
  • Presents credit recommendations to management.
  • Participates in projects aiming for efficiency.
  • Direct engagement with internal and external partners (CEO, CFO, AP, sales, operations, etc.) thru conference calls. Builds relationships with senior executives
  • Engagement with customer to negotiate different mechanisms financial solutions, such as securities, payment plan, etc.
  • to allow customer to purchase above their credit limit.

  • Supports Collections in regards of account receivables delinquency and determines the type of communication method to facilitate payment.
  • Analyzes at-risk customers and partners and recommends account strategies to prevent bad debt cases.
  • As additional resource uses external tools to determine risk.
  • Ability to train new team members.
  • Education and Experience Required :

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; MBA preferred or bachelors as a minimum.
  • Typically, 6-10 years of experience in a credit function (corporate and / or banking).
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Proficient with Microsoft software

  • Excellent understanding of collection processes (i.e., disputes), financial principles, and main lines of businesses.
