The Devices Brand Studio, an internal agency within the Devices group at Amazon, is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed associate designer to help us create campaigns for Echo, Alexa, Smart Home, Fire TV, Tablets, Kindle, and other devices and services.
In this role, you will be creating a variety of digital and print assets used to engage and attract customers.
Your primary focus will be to design visually compelling and effective creative for internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with product and marketing teams as well as the larger creative team to bring ideas to life to help drive new business.
Prior experience with templatized graphics and following brand guidelines is required.
You also must have experience designing large-scale digital campaigns and be able to work in an iterative process and professionally accept art direction and feedback.
In addition to strong design skills, a candidate must have strong organizational skills, web expertise, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities
Use existing brand and style guides to design merchandising and marketing campaigns for a variety of online and offline channels, including assets on Amazon’s homepage, device product pages, associate ads, and emails.
Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product / project guidelines.
Effectively manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines
Build trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders and team members.
1+ years of experience as a production, visual and / or graphic designer.
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong art direction and visual design skills. (Please include its link on your resume)
Bachelor's degree in design or related studies, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with Sketch / Adobe XD, Figma and other image-optimizing applications to create online user experiences.
Experience creating print assets.
Curiosity about Amazon Devices and smart home technologies (Alexa, Echo, Fire TV, Fire tablets, Kindle, Ring, Blink, Eero)
High proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in an ambiguous environment.

Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
