The challenge

Digital Media at Adobe is a $10B+ business with world’s best desktop, web & mobile apps. We go to market (GTM) with these apps through our ecommerce, app store, reseller and field sales routes to markets (RTM).

The Digital Media Mobile GTM & sales team defines the GTM strategy for the mobile apps via the app stores and is responsible for driving cross functional execution across product & marketing to deliver the quarterly Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Monthly Active Use (MAU).

The Senior Director of Global Digital Media GTM & Sales is responsible for building the vision, strategy, and operating framework needed to manage acquisition, engagement, conversion & retention for the mobile app store business.

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible to deliver quarterly and annual goals for ARR & MAU from the mobile apps, aligning with the 3-year strategic roadmap for Digital Media.
  • Present health of business and growth opportunities to senior leadership on an ongoing basis.

  • Understand business opportunities for driving life time value to users, define operating plans cross functionally and be held accountable for delivery against them.
  • Drive strategic alignment of vision, goals, and approach across various teams like Product, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Go-to-Market.
  • Think strategically about the state of the business; develop deep understanding of our customers and what success means to them.
  • Lead and develop a team of highly-effective digital GTM managers
  • Develop data-driven insights to provide a deep understanding of health of business and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage a weekly operating model to run and manage the business with key cross functional partners
  • What you need to succeed

  • Strong intuition for business of mobile commerce and a mature subscription business, proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated abilities to thrive in a complex business environment.
  • Experience in managing teams to a quota
  • Strong analytical background
  • Extensive understanding of the tech industry in roles such as business strategy, analytics, marketing, retention, etc.
  • Diverse experience of managing Direct B2C / B2B customers
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience within a complex, matrixed environment
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and represent team with professionalism and self-sufficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong executive presence
