The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager of Campaign Marketing, Strategy and Operations you will build content for our global marketing strategy and priorities.

Your role will hold us accountable to deliver on the marketing priorities via defined metrics. Also, you will identify, scope and plan for new operational and marketing capabilities that drive innovation and growth for Adobe.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing Strategy + Ops. Our team is responsible for our portfolio marketing strategy, planning and variable marketing spend for industry-leading products such as Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Substance and Acrobat.

We’re looking for hardworking, hands-on marketers and operational leaders who balance creative approaches with a data-driven mentality.

This Strategy and Ops role will own :

Marketing Strategy Content Develop and evolve the portfolio strategy for marketing across categories and customer audiences, aligning teams to the same north star goals and prioritization.

Marketing Efficiency Inform strategy and investments through a data-driven view of our marketing performance. Align marketing to unified metrics and driving consistent marketing performance reviews across acquisition, engagement, and retention motions.

Marketing Operations Run our rhythms of the business, such as Annual Goal Setting (Objectives + Key Results), Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Marketing Strategy Reviews, reporting for our annual customer conference (MAX), etc.

What you'll do

  • Establish portfolio marketing priorities (annually + quarterly) across categories, audiences, and geos, serving as the glue across the team to integrate and uplevel our marketing strategy for executive audiences.
  • Harness insights from our data, competitive intelligence and marketing trends to evolve our long-term marketing plans and deliver insights / reports on marketing performance over time.
  • Own the day-in, day-out operations of our core reoccurring processes. Bring structure and ensure delivery of our Annual Marketing Plans, Quarterly + Monthly Business reviews, Campaign Strategy Reviews / Product Launches, etc.
  • Includes defining calendars, templates, program managing inputs x-partner teams, and leading quality control on content to finalize quality, timely work products.

  • Clear roadblocks on how we operate and find the efficient path to getting things done via sprint-based projects on painful areas of our operations to fix each quarter.
  • Develop new operating models (org structure, process, tools, metrics) to increase marketing efficiency and business performance.
  • How you will succeed :

  • BS / BA with 6+ years tech, agency or management consulting experience
  • Strategic + Operational Problem Solving Drives structure in ambiguity and solves a range of business problems. Brings structure to deliver projects + programs on time and within budget (e.
  • g. build project plans + roadmaps, establish + hit goals, ensure partners deliver on plans, elevate performance / risks for leadership action).

  • Data + Analytics Proficiency Harness data to drive insights + support recommendations (vs. numbers crunching). Brings POV on core business metrics to optimize for and understands business levers which drive performance.
  • Brings a POV, able to present to execs and influence in x-functional org Steers x-functional flat teams towards a direction / decision + results.
  • Understands + aligns partner interests / concerns and unifies teams around common goals for success. Preps + delivers executive (VP+ level) presentations with little oversight.

    Commands a group of executives with divergent POVs into decision / action.

  • Autonomous, proactive Takes direction + thinking from A, B, C to D, E, F independently. Finds opportunities, risks, partner / people implications when solutioning.
  • Adaptive Rolls with change, tests + iterates, and learns from failure. Capable of leading business rhythms (repeatable processes) and in-quarter projects that arise without prior context.
