About the role
Within Arm, the Infrastructure Line of Business is responsible for technology solutions and go-to-market strategy for enabling the edge-to-cloud infrastructure foundation for a world of a trillion intelligent devices.
The vast and diverse infrastructure edge, broadly encompassing intelligent IoT gateways through edge servers, presents significant opportunity for Arm and for the ecosystem, in terms of adopting new technologies, enabling operational efficiencies and unlocking different revenue streams.
As Technical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and extending relationships with the value chain, built on commercial and proof-of-concept engagements in infrastructure edge computing.
What will I be accountable for?
Building and maintaining working relationships across the value chain that includes Arm silicon partners, ODM / OEMs, ISVs and Enterprises across verticals.
Structuring and delivering multi-party proof-of-concepts in the edge-computing domain by working closely with internal teams, involving solution architectures, reference platforms and software stacks.
Developing business cases for strategic R&D investments in edge-computing
What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?
You have earned a BS Undergraduate degree in Computer Science / Engineering. An MS or MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
You have 8+ years' experience in business and / or product development in strategic networking, IOT and / or server markets.
A strong personal network with key influencers and decision makers at ODMs, OEMs, System Integrators, and Enterprises is desirable.
You have a high level of personal and professional integrity and credibility with a top-notch work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
You excel at communications and possess excellent presentation skills, along with a clear ability to convey value propositions customized to the target consumer within the value-chain.
You are a strategic, critical but creative thinker, with a balanced mix of technical awareness, business sense and financial skills.
You are open to regular, and possibly frequent travel within and outside of North America.
