The Accounts Receivable Team Leader will work closely with the AR team members to establish global processes and procedures that support consistent billing and collections.
They will serve as a mentor and trainer to AR team members.They will partner with key members of the Dwellworks team, such as operations, sales, and finance to identify improvements and refine processes.
Accounts Receivable Team Lead
Monitors global accounts receivable balances and takes action to reduce / prevent past due balances.
Reviews cash postings and collections activities for opportunities to improve team performance and achievement of metrics
Works towards establishing consistent billing practices globally, streamline processes and work as part of the team to document and implement solutions
Trains and mentors staff members in the department, local as well as remote
Establishes professional customer relationships to support collections and dispute resolution efforts.
Works with other team members to ensure the proper application of VAT on all invoices
Identifies problem accounts and works with customers to resolve root causes.
Provides timely follow-up on customer inquiries and payment arrangements.
Participates in special projects as assigned and contributes to the continuous improvement culture.
Work with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, and finance), to identify improvements and refine the company's quote to cash process
Back up Accounts Receivable Associates and assists with complex account reconciliation.
Other duties as required.
Understanding of VAT and other global indirect taxes
3-5 years in Accounts Receivable role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to take initiative, lead and motivate a team
Experience with Netsuite (preferred), Excel, Word, Outlook
