The Thermal Engineer is responsible for thermal analysis, design, and integration for a variety of products, form factors, and components through different levels of maturity (investigation, proof of concept, prototype).
Works cross-functionally to understand requirements and constraints and develops, runs, and interprets results from representative numerical simulations.
Seeks out and provides constructive feedback on thermal analyses. Clearly documents and communicates model assumptions, results, meaning, and provides guidance to design teams and partner organizations.
Performs or oversees thermal testing for model validation and correlation.
Responsibilities also include development of thermal solution concepts, conducting design previews, performing system acceptance, and resolving design and implementation issues.
Responds to customer / client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
