The Emerson Machine Automation Solutions Commercial Compliance Specialist provides coordination of due diligence associated with the onboarding, renewal and termination of world area channel partner portfolio.

Also, as part of the Checkpoint Compliance team carrying out independent reviews for the designated World Area, in order to provide assurances to management on the adequacy and effectiveness of Checkpoint, Anti-Corruption Processes.

Primary metrics will be cost, quality, and speed.He or she will need to work closely with the businesses, compliance, Legal and commercial teams.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Follow and implement channel onboarding policies and due diligence for the designated world area channel partner portfolio
  • Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within indirect channels. Ensureglobal standards are being achieved from the standardized global onboarding policy
  • Interview channel partners and sales managers and record data into system of record of for channel onboarding
  • Participate in IRB (internal review board) process for approving high risk channels in North America region
  • Work with contracting team to facilitate contract management in the region
  • Provide day to day compliance support to indirect channels within the designated world area
  • Know when other operational teams need to be brought into the process, cultivate relationships while consistently building new ones.
  • Effectivelymanage multiple urgent items at one time
  • Conduct Checkpoint site reviews review procedures surrounding third party due diligence on customers and suppliers with agreed corrective action plans to address deficiencies in accordance with Emerson’s Checkpoint program.
  • Production of periodic reports detailing the results reviews undertaken, statistics, trends and key issues
  • Production of quarterly reports for the VP HR and VP IT detailing deficiencies identified by compliance audits
  • Tracking of deficiencies and follow-up on overdue remediation
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from accredited college or university At least 6 years’ experience in process operating role
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in industry related sales, marketing, compliance, legal or risk
