You will carry out diligence on new clients and new firms we partner with in our client work.

In doing so, you will be responsible for identifying, clearing and where appropriate, escalating red flags. You will play an important role in evolving and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s diligence processes in a globally consistent way while also supporting efforts to ensure compliance with relevant firm policies, systems, and processes.

In carrying out diligence on prospective new clients and partner firms, you will synthesize multiple sources of data both internal and external to the firm to provide actionable guidance, help navigate uncertainty, and identify ways to mitigate risk.

This will often involve the development and delivery of contextualized reports, presentations, and communications to firm colleagues, and collaboration as necessary to secure additional expert input to inform due diligence discussions and fill gaps in knowledge.

You will also monitor and track compliance with relevant policies in this area.

Over time, you will be expected to inform decision making through an increasingly nuanced understanding of economic, geographic, and political issues that impact on the firm’s engagements, and to serve as a valued source of advice on relevant approaches and levels of diligence for specific sectors, clients and partner firms.
