The Sr Master Data Analyst provides guidance and support for stakeholders to improve their data literacy and advocate the adoption of data management and data governance best practices across the organization.

This person will also be responsible for overseeing initiatives for improving the data management process and must have extensive knowledge of functional processes, supporting the full lifecycle of a product.

Responsibilities :

  • Define data ownership through identifying data owners and definitions of critical data elements within all S+N systems
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, monitor ongoing results, define process areas for review, and conduct benchmarking activities to ensure best in class results for data management best practices
  • Responsible for adherence to standards and controls, data quality, problem management, and change management requests
  • Establish synergies, standardization and best practices
  • Regularly review, measure and report on ERP master data quality
  • Ensure that customer and user data is accurate and up to date
  • Understand the relationship between master data and inventory control and support any inventory control processes as needed
  • Reconcile specific data sets to support monthly planning processes
  • Support master data implementation of global workflow tool
  • Deliverables and Requirements of this role :
  • Recommend creative solutions to complex problems while maintaining best practices.

    Leverage the S+N workflow platforms to set up, maintain, and take down data based on the status of the product lifecycle.

    Identifying and participating in or leading process improvement initiatives

    Perform training of end users on the configured solution.

    Support the validation and testing of the solution and capture user feedback.

    Support data management and data integration related activities.

    Any other reasonable project related tasks as assigned by the MDM Manager.

    Location : Costa Rica

    Education :

    Education : Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university preferred.

    Licenses / Certifications : Not Required

    Experience : 5-10 years of relevant experience in master data management a plus

    Good background in Supply Chain planning concepts.

    Self-direction with ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

    Work well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.

    Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

    Competences :

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft suite.
  • Strong SAP experience, specifically master data ERP implementation.
  • Will be working extensively within different systems and in different programs.
  • Strong computer skills will be an asset for success in this role.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally, and support processes in various departments.
  • Time management and prioritization skills with the ability to start projects and work independently.
  • Functional / Technical Knowledge / Experience in following areas :

  • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and corresponding data elements required to support the set-up, maintenance, and end of support stages of a products lifecycle.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain planning processes.
