  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in communications; strong experience in corporate communications including risk communications as well as designing communication campaigns and change management initiatives preferred
  • Stellar public speaking skills; ability to host townhalls or values days
  • Technical expertise and willingness to learn topics on social media content and managing the intranet
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage and influence different stakeholders such as senior management, design department, admin team and vendors
  • Excellent ownership skills and high level of drive and initiative; ability to handle multiple projects at a time
  • Strong passion for giving back to the community and our affinity groups and community engagements
  • Great speaking and writing communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a strong preference due to external presence
  • Who You'll Work With

    You will be based in our San Jose, Costa Rica office and work with different stakeholders, teams and colleagues in San Jose and other locations.

    You'll work with peers from offices in Prague, Brazil and the U.S. You will have the opportunity to work with other functions in the office, such as our firm administrative team (HR, learning, office services, recruiting), our graphics team, our affinity groups (e.

    g. McKinsey Green Team, GLAM - McKinsey's LGBTQ+ community, Giving Back) and senior stakeholders.You will also work with contacts in the media and public relations industry in Costa Rica.

    What You'll Do

    You will oversee internal and external communications for our San Jose Office.In this role, you will work from client development, corporate social responsibilities, our employee value proposition on social media to keeping colleagues engaged and connected.

    You will drive the strategy for our external communications by building media relations and presence for client development and reach and relevance.

    For internal communications, you are responsible for colleagues to be well informed and connected by driving communication in various channels (e.

    g. email, slack, intranet and townhalls). Aside from this, you will be coaching and developing colleagues and leaders on their communication skills. Functions
