Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
As the Facilities Manager, You will
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.
May have responsibility for establishing, overseeing and adhering to environmental health and safety standards.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Management during the initial startup phase and consolidation of manufacturing operations
Plans, schedules, and coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Facilities Technicians Management, studies and manages work requests.
In charge of budget planning and control for the facilities (buildings).
Responsible for negotiating contracts for maintenance work done by contractors.
Responsibility for revision and analysis of facilities suppliers and revision, analysis and supervision of contractors in different facilities works.
Responsibility for visitor control and facilities contracts including transportation, cafeteria and security services.
Management responsible for plant cleaning control and cleaning service personnel supervision.
Responsible for Medtronic’s Energy Conservation Program.
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
Experience improving facilities and OPEX processes and / or implementing new planning and tools and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Spanish.
Certified Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Previous experience in a medical device manufacturing environment with knowledge of FDA regulations is desirable.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Global and Local policies and procedures relevant to Quality which includes compliance & regulatory, control for manufacturing Medical Devices.
APICS, Lean Sigma, Power BI, SAP (desired)
Knowledge of Maintenance Excellence Program, including TPM, RCM, OEE.
Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects.
