The Solutions Architect with be responsible for defining the architecture of multiple systems and developing solutions based on WFS predefined processes, guidelines and best practices to address business requirements.
Responsibilities :
Lead the identification, design, scope and development of technical solutions for enterprise applications and information systems
Lead multiple work streams to ensure design, build and implementation adheres to enterprise vision
Define and describe components stack, integration dependencies, and data flows for technical and business users
Serve as a key member of the customer facing team in helping to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications and services on WFS platforms.
Work closely with Domain Architects to help align solutions with enterprise / domain-wide strategic technology direction.
Partner with business functions, platform development and delivery teams and other architects to enhance existing applications or ensures new systems can integrate and seamlessly communicate with other applications.
Collaborate with other technology teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems
Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment .
Lead, mentor and coach the work of other employees.
Recommend policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization and share best-practice knowledge amongst WFS solutions architect and technical lead community.
Experience and Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other equivalent science or engineering major.
8+ or more years experience designing and implementing distributed applications in a commercial environment.
Experience with Cloud computing, AWS Preferred
Knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices, autoscaling, ansynchronous communication, message queues, CQRS, streaming data etc.
Advanced knowledge of high performance design patterns
Expereince with high availability strategies
Advanced skill with Java Spring Boot, .NET Core or any other modern application development framework.
Deep hands-on expereince with CI / CD
Knowledge of At least 1 enterprise SQL database, Oracle preferred
Knowledge of at least 1 NoSQL database such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB
Experience with Docker
Deep knowledge of at least one orchestration platform such as ECS or Kubernetes
Knowledge of API management strategies
Preferred Understanding of key AGILE concepts and / or experience with leading or operating in an AGILE environment.
Preferred - 2+ years' experience establishing, building, testing and deploying the functional components of ERP systems / supporting applications
