This position will support the requirements that Business Locations needs related with Project Cost Controlling and Planning support in a multi-
disciplined organization. It is in Costa Rica. Approximately 10% travel expected. This role reports to Project Controls Team Lead administratively.
This role reports functionally to : Operation Manager, Project Manager, Project controller or Finance Lead.
Create Projects, agreements and financial plans in Oracle application
Create and maintain Projects in Clarity
Information extraction (running reports) from Oracle and Clarity
Cost controlling of daily transactions
Entering purchase requisitions into the Oracle purchasing system
Project Closing in Oracle and Clarity
Document control or supervision of document control related with projects
Reporting and Workbooks
Provide on a regular basis resource level information to the local Resource Manager(s) on resource planning. Ensure that the resource allocation plan is kept up-to-date
To provide basic planning support for multi-projects and develop schedules using information gathered from all levels of the business
Uncovering industry best practices in project administration and or project planning controls.
Participating in project administration and project planning controls improvements within the industry center.
Using Emerson Global Project Management Office processes (ensure our practices are within PMO guidelines).
Experience in a Project Administration role or Planning role.
Student, bachelor’s degree or related experience.
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point and Advance Excel.
Must have excellent oral and written English skills
Must have excellent people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates
Experience with Oracle Business System, Clarity, MS Project or any other similar Software
