With innovation at the core of our business, we constantly seek new ways to solve the most challenging test issues. We are currently seeking a PCBA Manufacturing Engineer to join our Costa Rica team.

As a Printed Circuit Board Assembly Manufacturing Engineer, you will support all facets of product development through process development, manufacturability analysis, jigs / fixtures and equipment design and tooling.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with operations, design engineers and management to carry out the following responsibilities :

Provide technical support to contract manufacturer partners

Identify critical manufacturing and quality issues and drive CM partners to closure

Assist in Manufacturing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews through New Product Introduction process

Define Manufacturing process specifications and design.

Develop and implement new procedures.

Develop Manufacturing Process Strategy for outsourced and in-house products

Conduct capacity planning and analysis

Create and Implement Engineering Change Notices to update BOMs and drawings

Monitor and drive quality improvement at suppliers and internally

Develop and provide training to assembly personnel

Perform First Article inspections

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

Qualified Applicants must have :

A BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Min 2 years of relevant experience with PCBA manufacturing.

Must have analytical and mature thinking, organized, team player with a high sense of urgency.

Must be an extremely motivated individual.

Flexible to work with global suppliers with multiple time zones.

10-15% travel

Familiar with IPC standards (

Familiar with ISO and AS9100 standards
