POSITION SUMMARY : We are looking for driven individuals to help us to create a unified product offering that can provide an accessible gateway into trading that will empower our customers to grow with TradeStation.
This is a unique opportunity to rework TradeStation's proven core brokerage technology into a modern, and simple experience for current and future customers.
This team will be building out a modern tech stack for the future of TradeStation's consumer-focused(retail) application products.
The engineer team works on developing software solutions to our infrastructure problems. Individuals who are experienced software engineers and cloud infrastructure experts will be building a software-defined infrastructure stack on top of Kubernetes.
You will be building a platform for the development teams to build amazing experiences for our customers. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Understand, execute and embody Site Reliability Engineering principles
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for development teams to utilize
Build necessary guardrails to keep services operational and secure
Build templates and tools to accelerate development
Support teams to help them bring their applications to the cloud
Build service monitoring, alerting, and incident response automation and procedures.
Work in a DevOps environment, where development teams own both the development and operational responsibilities
As a senior engineer, provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Required :
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes abstractions and underlying mechanisms
Knowledge and proficiency in one or more modern general-purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, Golang, C#, Java)
Advanced knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure on one or more cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience building cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
Excellent communication skills to assist developers in building Cloud Native applications
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Preferred :
Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Experience with distributed and scalable cloud architectures and techniques
Experience managing Linux deployments in the cloud
Experience securing cloud deployments
Advanced understanding of network and internet technologies (e.g. DNS, TLS, TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSockets)
Brokerage / trading domain knowledge and experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent work experience
Must have 5+ years of professional experience
