This newly created role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to further their career in Tax within a large and dynamic global technology company.

The role will allow the right person to shape Arm's future tax function in the US.

Reporting in to the Head of Tax this role provides exposure to a broad spectrum of US taxes. Key activities will include tax reporting for the US group and advising the Internet of Things Services Group on all tax related matters.

There is plenty of opportunity for an ambitious candidate to develop their tax career in the fast growing technology industry with Arm, while using their passion and expertise to contribute towards building on existing processes to meet Arm's growing tax requirements in North America.

What will I be accountable for?

  • Responsibility for the annual US Tax Compliance including Federal and State returns. This will involve overseeing advice from our external tax advisers and preparing the annual state apportionment analysis.
  • Assisting US finance with the administration of sales, use and other indirect taxes.
  • Estimate the quarterly tax payments for the US group and prepare all US tax provision calculations.
  • Preparation of US research and development claims, including coordination of business interviews with relevant colleagues.
  • Assist in various projects within the company. For example, supporting the business on US acquisitions and advising on the sales tax engine implementation of the current ERP upgrade.

    What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?

  • You will be a highly motivated individual with the desire to create and develop a first class tax resource to the US business.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills, you seek to build relationships across Arm's business functions and with external parties.
  • This role requires very strong Microsoft excel skills and familiarity with SAP is desirable.
  • You will hold a professional qualification in tax or accounting and have had previous experience working in a tax role in industry or in a large accountancy firm
