Front End and Channel Infrastructure (FCI) is a part of the Customer Support Infrastructure and Services Technology (IST) organization delivering best-in-class user experiences through front-end and channel solutions.
The FCI team is currently seeking an Entitlement Business Solution Lead to manage critical application and infrastructure delivery within HP’s Entitlement Services.
The Individual will be responsible to work with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT to deliver the Entitlement Transformation.
Job Summary
Entitlement Business Solution Lead will represent the Business Requirements from the HP Business Unit’s and will establish functional requirements, design processes & solutions for delivery to the IT development team and their professional service providers.
Entitlement Business Solution Lead will work with HP IT Architects and PM’s, HP’s Business Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, and Development Service Providers to ensure that Agile User Stories are well defined, executed, and align with current and future business capabilities as part of the OS Micro Services AWS & the BCP AWS Cloud System of Reference Projects for the Entitlement Transformation.
As the Lead, they will assess Entitlement Change Requests and projects needed to Deliver Entitlement data for Factory Warranty.
Facilitate Backlog Prioritization and grooming on behalf of the Entitlement Business function. Work with Subject Matter Experts to understand the business needs, both current and future, and help to ensure Entitlement delivery Services will meet the increasing demand of consumer and commercial customers in PC, Print, and 3D for timely and regionally specific requirements.
Serves as the Business Solution Lead for HP’s Entitlement Services
Facilitates and helps facilitate Agile Processes such as Backlog Prioritization, Grooming, Sequencing
Manages Functional & Technical Requirements in partnership with IT and Professional Service Providers
Leads and manages the analysis, design, and implementation of the evolution for the Entitlement Applications used to Manage Factory Warranty elements
Manages the Technology Delivery for Warranty API Bulk Warranty Lookup Services in conjunction with the Entitlement Transformation
Is responsible for the timely technology implementation for the new Obligation Cloud Micro Services and the subsequent AWS Cloud DB to be used and a System of Reference for service all of HP’s Entitlement Requests in a timely fashion, both Synchronously and Asynchronously for Warranty, Care Packs and Contracts.
Works with the HP service providers to perform high-level design in support of the initiative
Works with Information Architects and Customer Experience Experts to deliver Regional and Country Specified Requirements in a manner that is well-conceived.
Facilitates the Asset Evolution to deliver outstanding customer experiences
Ensures Support for Entitlement Systems are Highly reliable, scalable, and secure
Grooms’ agile stories to reflect application insights into how to optimize delivery against business requirements to meet new or evolve existing capabilities
Leads business side technical conversations on the Application Roadmap and deep dive on implementation strategies when clarity and further insight are required to ensure quality implementation of the technology.
Oversees the successful delivery of required services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) as defined by IT
Manages projects including the use of, project objectives, scope, approach, roles and responsibilities, milestones and deliverables, resource requirements, and communication
Guide’s development activities and the software design to create simple, sustainable, extensible solutions that leverage application insights for Entitlement Transformation.

Responsibilities :
Application Transformation Roadmap Support
Lead the business engagement with IT for the delivery of the overall application development roadmap in keeping with the program objectives and capability priorities
Align critical business inputs with the major timelines, and deliverables to achieve the desired objectives and results
Present to the executive sponsor and team to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain assets to achieve a shared vision for the program outcome
Business Oversight for Application Design & Delivery
Oversee the execution of development projects, their progress compared with the plan, and the production of agreed deliverables
Monitor and coordinate dependencies across projects in the program and resolves conflicts
Ensure Users Access requirements meet business controls and cyber security requirements
Support the new IT DevOps delivery Models and standards
Program Delivery
Oversee the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts
Validate Change requests
Support the Applications Support Operations as needed to quickly resolve application issues for the content experience by helping to quickly triage symptoms in partnership with IT Support and restore services.
Manage Application Configurations and Settings to optimize system performance and throughput
Work with vendors and infrastructure teams to optimize platform stability and performance
Act as an advisor and build and maintain relationships across the wider stakeholder community
Program / Project Management
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management
Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data will require an in-depth evaluation of multiple, complex factors, and significant use of judgment
Delivers projects affecting multiple client divisions or the enterprise as a whole
Manages a portfolio of projects or a program and supervises other project managers on very large multi-function, multi-vendor projects
Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques
Education
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience
5 to 7 years in diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs
5 or more years of experience in IT business / industry
Demonstrated, Strong cohesive Teamwork
Application Development Experience Required
Application Experience with the AWS Cloud-based Micro Services & SAP platform development experience desirable
Demonstrated experience in team leadership

Experience in Application Architecture and Design
3 or more years of experience in .NET and Java programming
3 or more years of experience in Agile Application development, story development, and grooming
Experience in AWS Infrastructure Configuration
3 or more years of experience with a Micro-Service Based Cloud Application Architecture and Design
Experience with planning, developing, and implementing UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Knowledge and Skills
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate program objectives and maintain alignment with business strategy
Brings a depth of experience and knowledge in application development and configuration management
Knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Elastic Configurations, Gateways, Security, and Performance

Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization
