The Opportunity

The Marketing & Customer Insights (MCI) organization has a dual objective of providing customer research, analysis, and marketing effectiveness measurement while advancing the use of Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies to enable and track customer experiences across surfaces.

Within MCI, the Integrated Marketing Analytics team was established to focus on developing deep media and customer insights to support integrated marketing planning across channels.

The group closely partners with Global and Field Marketing, IT, business unit leaders and other corporate functions to enhance understanding of our customers and their digital journey.

The team maintains a highly visible and strategically important role in delivering and facilitating understanding of insights to inform business strategies, and to track the performance of marketing specific activities against expectations.

The work the team delivers is informed by the business needs for strategic customer understanding, and may range from media investment performance analysis, deep customer journey investigations, to customer segmentation or targeting overlays.

This role will help drive cross channel performance media measurement, across email, paid search, display and social channels.

This role will work closely with cross functional teams to set performance targets, evaluate investment efficiency, and guide targeting and audience strategies.

A balance of analytical skills as well as strong communication skills is key. Knowledge of performance media channels is highly preferred!

What you'll do

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to set performance media targets, guide investment decisions and advise on testing strategies
  • Use data to understand Adobe products in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive growth in customer engagement and retention
  • Deliver synthesized insights in a compelling manner to various internal audiences and executives
  • Influence execution teams to drive key initiatives across the business that will increase engagement and retention
  • The ideal candidate for this position is part analyst, and part influential leader.

  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves and work directly with raw data (when needed) including accessing data and linking in Hadoop, structuring and carrying out analyses (e.g., in R, Q or SPSS)
  • What you need to succeed

  • 7-10 years experience in one or more of the following areas : digital marketing analysis, strategic consulting, customer insights / analytics, marketing insights / analytics.
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and using data to make business decisions
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing environment, especially social media
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast moving and iterative-development environments
  • Desirable Skills :

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, experimental design, hypothesis testing and the application of ML algorithms
  • Understanding of multi touch attribution framework
