As a Senior System Administrator , you will oversee maintain, upgrade, and manage company technological infrastructure, its configurations, and the several services kept on it.
Given the intensive use of technologies in the cloud in the company, you will be in charge of the creation and maintenance of the different services and artifacts to keep the entire IT infrastructure Cloud-based.
Support the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modifications, security, and upgrade of the company’s infrastructure
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans
Work with configuration environments; build servers, containers, virtual labs, and tools to accommodate multiple languages and architectures
Mentor / cross-train team members on existing and new technologies
Work closely with the production release and operations teams to produce consistent, high quality, and packaged builds for deployment to our internal and external customers
Deploy and support applications into a highly scalable and available environment
Implement smooth transitions between product revisions and application deployments
Perform new hardware and OS (Linux and / or Windows) installations, patching, and upgrades
Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and / or organizations
Define and document best practices and support procedures.
5-8+ years of overall professional working experience
Advanced Knowledge of AWS IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, Office 365, Azure, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Identity Management, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, Collaboration tools
Advanced Linux Administration experience
Experience managing and deploying clusters using tools such as Rancher, and EKS
On-call availability is a MUST
Proficient in Docker. Experience containerizing applications is a plus.
Familiar with a Continuous Integration workflow, pipeline definition, and creation
Knowledge of Git and git hosting applications.
Knowledge of cloud monitoring technologies. Dynatrace, Sumologic, or Prometheus is a plus.
Familiar with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies like Saml, Office 365, LDAP, and Active Directory.
Experience with 24x7 zero downtime platform or server management.
Preference to work with microservices architecture tools, especially Kubernetes
Experience with web applications exposed to the public.
Demonstrate ownership and teamwork.
