Place materials purchase orders / contracts in-line with supplier lead-times to meet multiple factory production plan requirements in SAP system.
Ensure period of material cover is sufficient, whilst maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price.
Maintain target stock levels within the factory.
Execute all cost reduction activities initiated by procurement, factory, etc.
Arrange delivery of materials with the supplier to the factory and where necessary resolve any logistics issues.
Working with other teams and departments to implement the phasing in and out of new / old materials as part of a controlled process (achieving agreed deadlines with minimum cost).
BS in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any equivalent qualifications.
Advanced Portuguese level.
Intermediate English level.
Awareness of materials planning and purchasing methods.
Good organizational and communication skills are essential.
Good knowledge in materials planning Best Practices.
SAP knowledge is a plus!
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
