Our team is seeking a senior 5G System Architect, with experience in design, development and deployment of complete 5G wireless access solutions (Fixed Wireless Access, Small Cells etc).
The candidate will be working on the fast paced, and leading edge advanced wireless technologies building exciting and complex hardware / software solutions.
Job Summary
Define and own the overall system architecture working closely with HW and SW architecture teams
Translate Marketing Requirements into system (hardware and software) specifications
Define and own the performance dataflow showing that HW meets performance and driving SW performance requirements specifications
Interface with customers and partners to understand variances and evolutions of requirements
Act as source of knowledge for wireless cellular standards as well as product deployment, deployment scenarios, lab and field issue analysis and resolution
Create technical literature such as datasheets, application notes, product brief, system specifications
10-20% travel may be required
Key Challenges
Demonstrated relevant experience in complex heterogeneous SoCs architecture, HW and SW co-design.
Very good knowledge and understanding of 3GPP stack
In-depth knowledge of cellular radio standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR), regulatory requirements, and carrier requirements
Strong experience in terms of exposure, ability to drive deep technical discussions and derive HW and SW specifications
Experience developing and evolving dataflows mapped onto a given HW architecture
Understanding of how multiple components work in a SW eco-system.
Experience in system engineering, including specification definition, integration, SW development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment
Knowledge of WiFi connectivity standards (IEEE .11ac / ax / ad / ay) is a plus

Chief Architect for MPU products to plan the strategy and roadmap
Product Marketing Managers to align on strategy and roadmap
Chief Product Architects from customers for requirements alignment and product evolution
Job Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or other similar discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
MS in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering preferred (higher level education may substitute for some experience).
PhD is a plus
