Job Description :
The Travel and Expense Compliance Team Lead will provide day to day operational support and management to the T&E Compliance team and respond to all function queries / requests.
This role will provide leadership, expertise and advice to the T&E Compliance Team Analysts, to enable them to deliver consistently high standards on daily key T&E Compliance activities within the Americas Shared Service Center Organization.
The T&E Compliance Team Leader will also assist the T&E Compliance Team with transactional activities during periods of high work volume if need it.
Also to play an active role contributing to the improvement of the performance of the Shared Service Center.
Job Responsibilities :
Provide leadership, expertise and guidance to the T&E Compliance Analysts to enable them to provide timely and accurate accounts payable services and responses to queries.
Lead and act as a quality controller across all aspects of T&E Compliance functions to ensure consistency in the execution of the T&E Compliance Procedures.
To identify, work on and propose continuous system and process improvements to ensure quality service delivery to Roche stakeholders
Work closely with the Financial Compliance Manager to set performance targets, team work plans, and mitigate identified risk areas.
Ensure all required monthly processing is completed within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Assists with day to day T&E Compliance transactions as required.
Provides accurate and timely support on urgent requests.
Manage T&E Compliance Team resources and work planning function and allocate tasks within the team accordingly.
Identify T&E Compliance Team Member training gaps
Look for / Create training materials to fix knowledge / skills gaps identified.
Coordinate Training execution along with the Compliance Manager.
Create and Maintain SOPs
Provide required information to internal and external audit in a complete and timely manner.
Job Requirements :
Finance and Accounting experience 5-7 years
T&E Audit and Compliance End to End Processes knowledge
T&E Compliance migrations experience
SAP System knowledge
Accounting Processes knowledge / experience
People Management experience (at least 2 years)
University degree in : Finance and Accounting, or a related economics subject, or strong experience as T&E Team Lead in Shared Service Centers.
Fluent English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
