Description

The job purpose is for tier 3 support of Emerson ProcessManagement Business Applications users globally during the regular NorthAmerica working day.

Working in conjunction with offshore resources also on aUS shift to entity and resolve issues raised to the Application Support Group.

Occasionaltravel to supported sites may be necessary.

This position will be responsible for carrying outProduction support for the Global Oracle ERP Instance for Emerson ProcessManagement.

Requires expert skills in Triage, Investigation, Problem resolutionand Communication.

Responsibilities

Critical success factors include :

Develop training material and application documentation asrequired.

Educate business users

Provide guidance in data preparation and migration

Provide support for configuration and application ofmultiple functional modules.

Identify and test application patches prior to promotion toproduction.

Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution.

Requirements

3-5 years experience with Oracle ERP, at least 3+ yearsexperience with Oracle 12 E-Business Suite in a Global Finance environment.

Implementation experience and detailed understanding of thefollowing Oracle Applications modules in Release 12 : GL, SLA, AP, AR, eBTax,FA, CE, OCM, i-Expense, i-Pay, OIC

Working knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for 12E-Business Suite : functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields,functional module interfaces

Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicatefunctional material to end users and management.

Define future business processes around Oracle Financialmodules

Experience with gathering user requirements andunderstanding and interpreting requirements specifications

Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
