NI is seeking an experienced analyst to join the pricing team. You will be a key player in driving pricing maturity ever higher with data driven insights and predictive analytics.
This is a unique opportunity will focus on cross-functional leadership in developing and implementing tools, process, and data sets to more effectively price our products.
You can expect to engage in key new development projects that have a large impact across the organization. You will learn and expand the functionality of tools to provide pricing analysis, continuous process improvement, change management, data design, and analytics visualization.
In addition to new functionality development, you will be a core player on the execution of worldwide pricing moves.
The role reports to the Global Head of Pricing
Collaborate closely with product management / planning, sales, finance, and marketing
Manage cross-functional pricing process, list price management. and new product pricing with the goal of enhancing value-based pricing acumen and capabilities across the organization.
Price setting in global, multi-channel business working across sales teams and channel partners
Model, measure, analyze, and forecast business impact for price moves.
Collaborate with the larger team on the development and implementation of next generation tools and processes.
Coordinate pricing approaches across large cross functional teams including Product Planning, Marketing, Sales, and IT.
Drive insight and action as an excellent data analyst / consultant. Able to perform ad hoc analysis and design workflows to support pricing decisions using tools such as Tableau and NI’s next generation pricing platform being implemented in 2021 including aligning to logic and strategies in this toolset.
Continuous development and refinement of pricing models providing insight to the business and competitive pricing in the markets we serve.
Participate in advanced price segmentation work to optimize decisions enabling organization’s CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools.
Engage in extensive business process re-engineering. Mapping As Is , collaborating on To Be and developing user stories for use in an Agile development environment.
Monitor pricing outcomes to actual results and integrate learning into pricing methodology.
Drive pricing improvements that incorporate multiple inputs across all business units and functions. Work cross functionally to improve the quality of pricing inputs and outputs.
Leverage process and technology to drive improved accuracy, value, scalability and timeliness of pricing solutions.
Intermediate - advanced english level (B2 + and above)
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
3+ years of experience in marketing, data, reporting, and analysis in a pricing, marketing, business intelligence, or finance role.
Proficient with BI analysis tools (such as Tableau, Oracle BI, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc.).
Demonstrate understanding of coordinating or developing data into usable structures for analysis such as ETL processes, merging data sets, queries, etc.
Qualifications & Skills
Desire to solve problems and think analytically, holistically and critically.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to readily assess trade-offs, operational efficiencies and long term solutions.
Ability to work in a team environment, lead by influence, and be driven to meet customer needs while driving operational efficiencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience in pricing : deciding, executing, coordinating, etc.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Strategic thinker that understands how to build and model customer segmentation, trade-off offerings, and bundling pricing structures
Highly Skilled in Tableau or other BI at building effective dashboards, workflows, and sustainable data structures.
Experience with agile methodology.
