Description Finance & Risk Operations based in Costa RICA, aims to align financial and management reporting processes across the LATAM Region, to have a common set of processes, thereby ensuring the efficient and effective execution of control, reporting and analysis requirements.

By partnering with Country Financial Control, the organization strives to improve the efficiency of this common function by reducing defects and improving cycle time.

The Program involves the identification and transition of the activities from Country Financial Control into Finance & Risk Operations.

This shared service also relieves the businesses of routine financial control and reporting activities thus allowing legal vehicle financial controllers to concentrate on high-

level, value-added analytical activities. These processes are continuously reviewed to achieve Six Sigma Quality while maintaining integrity of financial and management reporting. Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform Impact analysis.
  • Review of Business and Functional Requirement Documents (BRD / FRD)
  • Creation of Operations schedule and processes
  • Creation of report design
  • Creation of enrichment logics
  • Creation of configuration documents
  • Drive the process and / or systemic change that will create a reconciled set of financial data"
  • Participate in the configuration and development phase of the project including :

  • All country specific configurations
  • Work with technology and FRI Architecture with conversion efforts
  • Perform reconciliations of converted data"
  • Participate in the SIT phase of the project including :

  • Review of all country SIT specific test plans and scripts
  • Correction of any configuration issues
  • Configuration support
  • Participate in the UAT phase of the project including :

  • Assist in the creation of the UAT test plan Creation of FRO test scripts
  • Execution of FRSS test scripts
  • Support business with UAT testing
  • Creation of all country specific documentation and procedures
  • Assist with stress / performance / volume testing
  • Participate in the Go Live phase of the project including :

  • Assistance with user training
  • Confirm production configurations
  • Assist with and confirm conversion
  • Assist in the complete of go live checklist
  • To be able to define, design and support the Entitlement of Full Suite Global
  • Collection of the different Entitlement needs for Full Suite Global
  • Align the System Processes and Design to be able to meet the Entitlement Requirements
  • Support BAU in stabilization periods
  • Drive and coordination of the project initiatives between different systems.
  • Other responsibilities :

  • Perform any required control procedure as part of the sustaining process.
  • Performing accurate, efficient, and timely processing of operations tasks (uploads, reports, queries, customer support, execute jobs) as required.
  • Performing investigations and providing customer support, as needed and propose solutions to issues identified.
  • Performing queries on the various systems we support.
  • Performing validations for requests as well as recurrent validations of reference data and mappings.
  • Preparation, coordination and drive of meetings with customers, business & Technology for testing and requirements close out purposes.
  • Documentation of issues, metrics, status, requirements and others.
  • Serve as Operations contact point for a specific set of customers
  • Coordinate and / or supervise team activities as needed and provide feedback to team
  • Support subject matter experts in several aspects associated with Finance and Operations subjects within Citi, including but not limited to : definition of mapping rules for reference data, definition of system to system handoff rules, financial adjustment process, management reporting, translation of allocations and attribution processes for the country being implemented.
  • The analysis of customer requirements and designs of test scripts.
  • The creation of implementation plans, ensure that test scripts are completed timely and accurately and lead forums to solve incidents during the implementation.
  • This role will also act as a PMO in charge of organizing deliverables under FRO’s organization responsibility focused on LATAM countries.
  • Experience

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in Financial Services or Shared Services work environment preferred.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands
  • At least 5 years Finance experience
  • Experience on Financial Services.
  • Prior experience with data warehouses, data mining, data analysis
  • Supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Bilingual : English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

  • Proactive in identifying Process and System Enhancements, and the ability to test and execute Change Requests related to these System Improvements
  • Proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Project Management is a plus.
