About the role
Your Opportunity Reporting to the Intercompany Team Lead, the ICO Clerk is responsible for performing tasks related to intercompany month end close process, billing, account reconciliations, GRIR analysis, among others.
The incumbent ensures that accounts are properly reconciled and that closing entries are correctly recorded and posted to ensure accurate and timely financial data submissions.

The Professional position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen accounting and finance competencies. You will gain experience managing Intercompany processes while also gaining exposure to Inventory Accounting, Period End Close, Taxes, Consolidation & Treasury.
This role provides support and training needed to develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career Bacardi.
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :
Perform tasks related to Intercompany Financial processes within the Bacardi Global Services Center, which serves over 84 legal entities and Corporate Headquarters operations
Participate in the execution of the following tasks :
Close calendar development / maintenance.
Development and issuance of financial reports.
ICO balance sheet and P&L accounts reconciliation.
Netting / Settlement process between Bacardi entities.
Entry, review and posting of accounting journal entries.
Payment proposals : F110 creation, review and release process.
GRIR accrual calculation, analysis and posting.
Fix intercompany variances analysis.
Communicate effectively with internal Bacardi clients as necessary to ensure that work is properly delivered.
Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements pertaining Intercompany accounting processes.
Influence the markets to follow the correct procedures and policies.
Identify and execute on potential process improvements ensuring Intercompany accounting procedures conform to GAAP and Bacardi financial policies and procedures.

Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter that continuously is thinking on how things can be done better requiring minimal direction and support
Experience in the Spirits and / or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage.
University degree in Business / Finance or related discipline, CA / CPA certification, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Solid knowledge of Bacardi Business Partner / Shared Services / Centre of Expertise.
Foreign language skills : English 60% or higher written and oral skills.
