This position will play an important role in the creation of a regional FP&A team that supports Experian’s North America corporate FP&A team.
The primary objective will be managing Experian’s North America labor planning process as well as other regionalized reporting and forecasting initiatives and deliverables.
Responsibilities include hiring, training, transitioning of activities, establishing controls and governance and business partnering across various functions.
An ideal candidate will manage the regional labor planning forecasting and budgeting process with excellence.
Manage the North America Workforce Planning system including regional alignment with US Corporate Finance, communication, planning, preparation, training and controls with a focus on process and business partnering excellence.
Effectively business partner across all North America business unit finance teams, Latin America and globalized finance teams and executive leadership with a focus on transparency and building trust in an effort to transition responsibilities to the Costa Rica team.
Manage and support region-wide resource planning, financial analysis, and management reporting using Hyperion applications, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Build standardized planning processes with clear visibility to drivers and underlying budget and forecast assumptions
Streamline and automate routine reports to drive more efficiency and improve delivery timetables.
Lead projects to continuously improve system automations for planning, reporting and analyses
Institute an effective documentation program to ensure creation and maintenance of desktop procedures (DTPs).
Work collaboratively with the team Project Lead to align with each business unit on transition activities and timelines as well as manage all input into transition tracking reporting.
Develop proper governance and controls to ensure all deliverables are met accurately and timely and any issues are escalated appropriately.
Lead projects to continuously improve team output and level of service by utilizing lean and robotics process automation (RPA) methodologies.
Institute an effective documentation program to ensure creation and maintenance of desktop procedures including upstream and downstream impacts.
Skills and qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor’s degree.
Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master degree preferred
Experience in regional / global finance roles as well as managing regional / global planning systems, experience in business unit finance a plus
Experience successfully business partnering with all levels of North America business unit finance
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to drive collaboration and consistency in business support across a team
Strong Hyperion Planning / Reporting experience ideal
Strong Enterprise systems a must
Solid background in budgeting & forecasting concepts, reporting, analysis and modeling techniques, labor / headcount planning a plus
Experience with establishing and managing an offshore shared service center preferred
100% English fluency
Excellent organization skills and highly process oriented with lean training certification. RPA knowledge a plus
High attention to detail as well as ability to achieve results through delegation across team members
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, remove roadblocks and solve complex problems in a team environment
Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has demonstrated a track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers
