    About this role :

    Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people. With that as context, the GSO Talent Planning & Movement will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of enterprise initiatives related to Succession Planning, HIPO Identification, LASR practices and tools, Continuous Performance Management, and frameworks for coaching, sponsorship, mentoring, rotation programs, and individual development plans.

    They will partner with HRLT, HRBPs, Talent Management colleagues, D&I, and business clients to determine strategic priorities in these areas and then execute on solutions which meet those needs.

    BSC is looking for a strong and credible Talent Management Leader who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of development at Boston Scientific.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Bring Subject Matter Expertise to the function to shape the scalable global policies, processes, tools and programs around talent planning and movement.
  • Provide thought leadership proactively within assigned areas and with broader ETM.
  • Obtain regular feedback and perform needs assessments from stakeholders, consider requests for changes and new products.
  • Promote external trends to bring new ideas and innovative practices into assigned areas. Share learnings with broader TM and HR teams.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and new design needs.
  • Own the product roadmap for continuous performance management, succession planning and talent movement intiiatives.
  • Ensure product areas are effective, efficient and of high quality. Where applicable, self-service and digitization should be utilized.
  • Lead change management and stakeholder communication for product areas.
  • Determine applicable metrics and scorecard, review them at least quarterly and communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Manage BSC’s annual LASR process; prepare HRBPs and People Services for implementation, ensure global practices and tools are available and applicable, and consult as needed to ensure successful talent reviews across BSC.
  • Ensure tools, programs and processes are in place to identify high potential talent, raise their visibility across the enterprise and accelerate their readiness for roles of larger responsibility.
  • Manage and lead a continuous performance management methodology and institute change management support for the organization.
  • Create frameworks and global direction for coaching, mentoring, sponsorship, rotation programs, IDPs and career movement for global applicability.
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.

  • What we are looking for :

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7-9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 4-5 years experience in performance management, succession planning, HIPO identification and development.
  • Large scale project / program management experience.
  • Experience implementing or supporting mentoring, sponsorship, coaching and IDPs.
  • Ability to communicate complex HR concepts and products to a diverse and broad audience range (HR, non-HR, different cultures, different levels, etc.).
  • Competency in Global Perspective, Customer Focus, Influence, Execution, Communication, Collaboration.
  • Preferred :

  • Advanced degree.
  • Coaching certification (such as ICF).
