The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for an attorney to join our Corporate Legal team in our Legal, Security, and Policy Group. In this role, your ideas and contributions will affect Adobe's strategy and growth.

You will serve as the lead attorney supporting our facilities and workplace experience teams on outsourcing and strategic contracts and support these teams on litigation and pre-litigation matters in addition to providing day-to-day real estate, facilities, and corporate subsidiaries support, as needed.

We are looking for a problem-solving self-starter with excellent judgment who can prioritize and handle multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment to deliver creative, business-focused solutions.

One legal professional will report to you with primary responsibility for day-to-day real estate and facilities matters.

You enjoy serving as a sounding board for your team members and collaborating with other members of Legal and the teams we support.

What you'll Do

  • Lead our team's legal support of our facilities and workplace experience organization on outsourcing and strategic contracts.
  • You will focus on vendor workers, facilities, renewable energy, and new construction in large campus developments.

  • Lead a team of one or more legal professionals responsible for day-to-day real estate and facilities matters; be a sounding board and general resource for your direct report(s).
  • Work collaboratively across the organization, including with senior executives, to build consensus and drive projects to completion .
  • Collaborate with our litigation team to resolve disputes impacting Adobe’s workplace experience organization.
  • Provide support for our corporate subsidiaries, on an as-needed basis, to ensure Adobe’s global subsidiaries follow local laws and accomplish business objectives.
  • Effectively manage outside counsel on a global basis.
  • What you need to succeed

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and an active bar membership required.
  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Proficient at negotiating strategic contracts.
  • Prior experience with sustainability / environmental issues, including work on renewable energy projects.
  • Prior real estate and outsourcing experience along with a general knowledge of India legal environment are pluses, but not required.
  • Willingness to help with general corporate legal matters, disputes, corporate subsidiaries, and real estate and leasing matters, as needed.
  • Ability to exercise common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice; must be a creative problem solver and have good business instincts.
  • Flexible, business-friendly, creative, and intellectually curious collaborator who can influence internal clients and business partners and enjoys new and challenging projects.
  • Candidate must possess a sense of humor and enjoy working on a team and with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to providing clients with high quality and timely legal advice.
  • Flexibility to work with colleagues, clients, and others in time zones other than where the position is based.

  • Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

    Colorado Starting Salary : $155,500 - $202,000

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

    Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
