About the role
Bacardi Global Business Solutions (GBS) is looking for a high performing individual who is success driven and interested in a position within GBS-RTR acting as the point of contact between our organization and the markets.
The Service Delivery Liaison position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen communication, strategy and issue resolution for stakeholders in the different markets.
The desired individual will gain experience managing internal client relationships between GBS and their assigned region / countries.
This role provides the support and training required to develop a well-rounded skillset, which can be the foundation for advancing at Bacardi.
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :
Provide support to the markets on RTR related issue resolution, and perform front line troubleshooting both on going and during month end close.
Engage the operation team and follow up with them on the necessary action for resolution.
Act as the single point of contact between the market and RTR organization, aiming for issue resolution, process improvement and standardization.
Propose process changes.
Perform accounting analysis and checks over balance sheet for the markets under scope. Validate trends and swings.
Drive the necessary analysis and develop market understanding to be able to complete high quality Balance Sheet commentaries.
Provide support to the local market finance organization on account analysis and propose accounting adjustments when needed.
Serve as the point of contact for market projects impacting accounting, and for the local audits. Provide a front line troubleshoot and service.
Provide support to Controller team on accounting queries and communicating any specific situation occurring in the market.
Perform the GCR forms for the entities under scope.
Support pension accounting or other complex accounting processes.
Keep close communication with RTR operative teams and markets to be able to identify touchpoints and opportunity areas.
Also serve as the unique communication channel between both organization.
Foster a customer service culture in all interactions with internal customers and markets (stakeholders)
Ensure accounting procedures according to GAAP, Bacardi financial policies and procedures and influence markets and organizations to comply with this goal.
Influence the local finance organizations to comply with policies and procedures, as well as the month end close calendar.
Provide support to team’s activities and commit to the team goals.
Skills and Experience
The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
University degree in Business / Accounting or related discipline
Must be fluent in English & Spanish (C1 level).
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, and manage his / her time efficiently
Strong operations experience in Finance and Accounting.
Knowledge of RTR related processes.
Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms including SAP and / or Cognos Controller.
Proficiency with the MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
Ability to encourage creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets.
Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences
Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Advanced communication skills (as a presenter, leading conference calls, communicating with other members of the organization at different levels).
The following experiences are preferred :
Experience in the Spirits and / or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage
Solid knowledge of Bacardi Business.
Experience in Shared Services environment preferred.
CA / CPA certification preferred.
Previous experience in managing others.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Business administration required
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
