Our FinCare team is looking for a Content Writer who has extensive experience in the financial services industry. As a Content Writer on the FinCare team, you will work cross-functionally with FinOps teams, Process Improvement and Product teams to build customer-facing knowledge base content as well as documentation that facilitates internal team learning and onboarding.
You will be responsible for ensuring that documentation around SMAR finance processes, products and features is comprehensive, clear, and adapted to the applicable audience.
You should be comfortable with managing communication across different teams and interfacing with operational leads while acting as a customer advocate.

You will report to our Manager of FinCare located in our Bellevue, WA office.
You Will :
Write financial product descriptions and services pages by cutting out the financial jargon and explaining our financial processes in a way that everyone can understand
Write editorial content for the various customer help center platforms
Research topics in order to familiarize yourself with subject matters
Include current step-by-step guidance and identify missing information to help our internal and external customers to self-serve and emphasize finance knowledge and experience
Create a strong digestible finance dashboard that will provide a full guidance to our internal and external customers as well as support proper FinCare case queue creation
You Have :
2+ years industry experience as an effective technical writer, content writer or similar for a SaaS company
Skilled at identifying gaps in both internal and external knowledge and identifying edge case scenarios that our customers will encounter
Excited about explaining financial concepts in an easily digestible manner
Curiosity around how our products work and the future of Smartsheet
You’re a positive communicator and collaborator who demonstrates humility and flexibility with regard to feedback, edits, and shifting priorities
You’re a proactive self-starter who is resourceful and doesn't need hand holding; you thrive in a fast-paced environment
You have strong attention to detail and high organizational and project management skills
Regular and predictable attendance and performance is a must
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience with our key tools & technology (NetSuite, SalesForce, OpsCon, Smartsheet) is preferred
