About the role...
The Product Ready Trainer (PRT) is responsible for identifying and developing key Microsoft technical training courses for Tek Experts, as well as conduct delivery, as needed.
The PRT is the primary facilitator of Azure technical training programs and curriculums, both instructor led (ILT) and on-line (eLearning), for employees on various Microsoft products and services, not limited to only one POD.
This person is responsible for delivering a wide variety of job skills training courses and supporting (tools usage skills, general work skills, product skills, etc.
and other technical courses as needed to build the Microsoft technical competency of key technical staff. In addition, this person is responsible for identifying and suggest cutting edge training courses for self-paced or instructor led training activities following a systematic training development model similar to ADDIE or SAM, and being in constant communication with the APTS Master Instructor to approve changes.
What you’ll be doing
Proactively assess and identify training needs for multiple groups, as assigned.
Coordinate / Facilitate APTS Master Instructor with updates, changes, and feedback regarding a variety of training products (Example : Training content out-to-date, vertical no longer supported or transferred).
Assist APST Master instructor and Technical Trainer in providing course content.
Conduct necessary research to develop and revise labs, simulation exercises, and assessments to evaluate critical thinking skills and psychomotor skills of students within the classroom or laboratory environments, to determine if students are meeting learning and performance objectives.
Interact with remote and local teams of product managers, engineers, application engineers and software developers to gather content and a working knowledge of software and hardware products in Azure.
Communicate and collaborate with Coaches, Team Leads, Mentors and team members regarding training needs and initiatives.
Prepare conceptual graphics for print and online training as per current needs in conjunction with Technical Trainer and APTS Master Instructor.
Plan, organize and design using a variety of instructional methods to ensure maximum delivery effectiveness, engaging interactive online training for distance learning (Reviewed in T4 program).
Develop training materials including lessons plans, instructor guides, student guides, short training videos, virtual labs, recorded webinars, and eLearning modules in support of multiple delivery modalities (instructor-led training, virtual training, self-paced training, etc.) when required.
Incorporate relevant tutorials, use cases, and digital storytelling into the courses to make the content engaging and sticky .
Coordinate packaging of placement of training products for access, installation, localization, and translation.
In case of external trainings advise and coordinate the delivery of technical training courses with L&D and Ops.
Auditing the technical product training content (twice per year).
Assist in designing and developing certification programs and certification tests.
Assist the operation by taking and resolving regular cases until their resolution when training delivery / development is not ongoing / necessary.

Knowledge in game-based learning platform is a plus (Kahoot).
Must not have any active performance improvement plan in the last 6 months.
Must not have received any type of warning in the last 3 months or during the recruitment process.
At least 1 years’ experience in an engineering support environment
At least 1 years’ experience developing technical training for engineering support organizations
At least 1 years’ experience training enterprise Microsoft products.
Previous instructional design training experience is considered an advantage.
Microsoft Enterprise product experience is an advantage.
