Job Description :
You will be responsible for definition, implementation and optimization of renewals sales reporting and processes. You will work with management and business teams to help identify significant process automation & optimization opportunities that will enable VMware to establish next generation for running the renewals sales business.
You will align to different business functions building positive relationships across teams.
Essential Functions (Tasks and Responsibilities) :
Drive major process re-engineering efforts by leading business owners to define future state processes by conducting process design / requirements workshops.
Map existing processes; lead definition of to-be processes
Define / document business requirements, business rules and metrics to achieve to be state
Review and approve technical approach and design documentation
Ability to build dynamic and rich dashboards for monitoring business performance, heavily focus on automation, reducing manual work.
Ability to transform business ideas into functional dashboard, helping sales make better decisions and making valuable contributions to the business
Collaborate with Business and IT to define roadmap to reach to-be state. Review, recommend and implement industry standard tools as appropriate to deliver scalable solutions
We need you help design ad hoc reporting to improve the way we lead sales business bringing new ideas, that help sales have more visibility of existent opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial engineering, computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar positions
Able to design you own reports in BI platforms such as Tableau, SAP, Wave Analytics, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in visual basic for excel is a plus.
Proficiency in key Sales processes like Sales Planning, Quota Setting, Sales Forecasting, Territory Planning, Sales Commissions, and Quoting.
Understanding of key performance indicators that helps in measuring success of a Sales Business.
Strong expertise in Process Re-engineering, Process Optimization, Process Standardization and Automation, and exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Ability to effectively communicate with Senior management, Directors and partner in multiple countries and different time zones
Able to operate in an Agile development methodology
You should be a self-starter, motivated individual and able to lead the team through ambiguous situations
High level of proficiency using MS Access, MS Excel and SQL
Strong conceptual understanding of data warehouse and data transformation
Experience with programming language is a plus (Python, R, others)
