Job summary

The Amazon Design Scaled Services (DSS) team is looking for a talented and customer-focused Production Designer to join the Production Design team based in San José, Costa Rica.

DSS is the internal design team that supports Campaign & Creative Services within Amazon Advertising managing creative content across multiple platforms.

The team insists on the highest standards and presents Amazon customers with timely, relevant, and beautiful advertising that enhances their shopping experience.

DSS applies strategic insights to delight customers - driving discovery, engagement and trust.

Your primary focus will be to maintain and update cohesive ad campaigns across multiple platforms including desktop, mobile and Kindle for internal and external stakeholders.

You will work and a closely communication with product, sales and marketing teams to create and bring ideas to life to help drive new business.

Prior experience in an agency or media environment creating advertisements for global brands is required.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understand design principles that help drive successful design.
  • Support the production team activities, including creating layouts and templates.
  • Work within a continuous improvement operating model with the ability to identify and facilitate improvements and efficiencies across production work and processes.
  • Apply broad knowledge of production skills, project workflows and file / asset management, to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Enhance team knowledge of best practices in file creation and production
  • Maintain on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
  • Maintain customer-centric designs by integrating marketing objectives, target audience and creative assets into advertising designs.
  • Update and maintain cohesive ad campaigns across multiple platforms including desktop, mobile and Kindle.
  • Communicate design rational in a clear, respectful and open, fluent manner with internal partners and advertisers’ teams.
  • Proactively manage time and deadlines.
